Breaking Ground on a New Partnership Home!

St. Joseph County Career and Technical Education and Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County, MI, kicked off another partnership build this week with a groundbreaking celebration! The CTE Construction Trades class at Three Rivers High School, led by teacher Lincoln Klinger and assistant teacher and Habitat for Humanity SJCMI construction manager JD Yoder, will have the opportunity to work hands-on in all aspects of home construction. This is a fantastic way for students to help the community while learning valuable career and life skills! Attendees included current CTE Construction Trades students, CTE staff, Habitat for Humanity staff and board members, and representatives from Cripps Excavating Company.

This will be a charming two-bedroom, one-bath home in a convenient city location in Three Rivers MI. It will offer cozy living with the potential for expansion. The home will feature a spacious full basement with flexible space, prepped for the addition of a third bedroom and space for a second bathroom, making it easy to customize and grow with the needs of the partner family. Keep an eye on our social media and blog for updates as this home progresses!
