Through the generosity of the community and the assistance of community members, students from Mendon High School, and local contractors, Sophie and her sons now have a place to call home. When asked how being selected for a Habitat home changed her life, Sophie said, "It has given my boys and me a home, a place for them to grow, and the stability we need for growth." With the stability provided by dependable housing, Sophie was able to return to school to continue working toward a better future for herself and her sons.
